This is my brief overview of the 2010/11 season.
We finished 1st, with Sheffield Wednesday 2nd and Southampton coming out on top in the play-offs.
Our top scorer was Charlie Austin, with 36 in the league, and 5 in the cups. He was followed by Vincent Pericard, who had 25 in the league, and 3 in the cups, even though he did not play much in the second half of the season, after the January signing of Reisinger.
However, our dominance in the league was contrasted by our disappointment in the cups. We didn't do too badly in the FA Cup, being knocked out in the 4th round, losing 3-1 at home to Bolton.
In the Johnstone's Paint Trophy, we lost to Southampton 2-1 in the Area Quarter-Final, at St Mary's.
And in the Carling Cup, we lost 3-2 at home to Crystal Palace, in the 2nd Round.
